Casal das Sarnadas is the manor house of a large olive oil producing estate. The oil produced is called Ourogal, and the owners will be happy to show you around and explain the process. This is one of the oldest oil producing farms in the country, and André, your host gentleman farmer, can show you the orginal equipment used centuries ago. Bring home one or more bottles of the delicious gourmet oil produced, and savour the souvenir of a special holiday! The estate covers 250 hectares of woods, fields and olive trees. Many activities can be organised here, from walks to horse rides, clay pigeon shooting or small game hunting. All can be tailor-made for the enjoyment of guests. The main house is available to let, spacious and grand. The original stables have been converted in four separate suites, each with a private bathroom. Morada do Sol has two villas in its grounds which can be let as 4 independent units. All units have their own private access and outside space. Parties of up to 24 people can stay at Casa das Sarnadas when all units are let to the same group. There is ample secure parking inside the gated property |
