Estoril local beach
 
Location
The apartment complex is situated in the lovely quiet area of Monte Estoril, within 10 minutes walk of the beach  and 2km from Cascais. Lisbon is easily reached by a pleasant coastal train ride in 20 minutes or by car (20km). Sintra is a bus ride away.
 
Estoril became famous during the second world war as a safe haven for spies and the nobility.  The beautiful villas and architecture remain from this era. Its microclimate continues to attract tourists all year round, hot in summer and mild in winter.
 
The Estoril Casino is a favourite attraction and the yearly summer art fair is also a pleasant walk from the Lake Club Villas.
 
The Cascais Marina, with its boats, restaurants and buzzing night-life is a 5 minute drive.
 
Everything is within easy walking distance.

Many more beaches are easily reached, all with different characteristics.  To name a few; world famous Guincho beach offers a wilder panorama with waves and surf and Praia da Adraga offers beautiful shelter on windy days.

    • All the apartments are furnished to a high standard, with direct dial telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning and heating.

     

    The living rooms are spacious and airy, with seating and dining areas for the maximum occupancy; the kitchens are well equipped; all apartments have at least one fully equipped bathroom with bath, shower and bidet. All but a few studios have a balcony which can be requested at the time of booking.

         

     

    Getting there and around
    Two hours flight from most European cities and seven from New York, Lago Club is easily reached by car from Lisbon Airport in 30 minutes.
     
    Public transport is so convenient and reliable that guests can opt for a car free holiday.
     
    Above the sea front linking Lisbon and Cascais, the apartments are easily accessed by road and public transport. Lisbon city centre is 20km, easily reached in 20 minutes by car or by train along the sea. Cascais is 2 km away.  Sintra is easily accessed by bus.
     
    The small coastal train station of Monte Estoril is 10 a pleasant minutes walk, taking you to central Lisbon in one direction, and Cascais in the other.
