The villa is situated by the village of the Rayol Canadel (4km) - 20km from Saint-Tropez, 3O Km from Toulon airport and city. The spacious villa is within a gated condominium, 5 minutes from the best beaches . Ideal for a family vacation or for up to three adult couples, guests can enjoy the beautiful private swimming pool and a very nice sea view on the terrace. Don't miss the sunset ! Rayol famous staircase Facing the sea, Rayol Canadel stretches out into a semi circle of greenery. To the north of the town is the Maures mountains, and to the south is the rocky coast formed of headlands, creeks and bays all sheltering four sand beaches. One of these beaches was the choice for the allied debarkation on the 14th of August, 1944. This is a highly wooded area (80% of the town) with forests of cork oaks, heather, and mimosa. It is also the setting for some very beautiful Mediterranean homes. If you visit the Domaine du Rayol, for example, you wilt be able to imagine the activity on the Corniche des Maures at the beginning of the century when these incredible houses and gardens were in the making. Getting there and around
Two hours flight from most European cities and seven from New York, the villa is reached by car from Toulon Airport in 40 minutes. A car is essential for this holiday as there is no public transport to the Villa. Five minutes drive from the nearest beach and from the local village of Rayol Canadel, the villa is only a quarter hour’s drive from the beautiful coastal towns of Borme les Mimosa and Cavalaire. There is plenty to see and enjoy, with pretty villages, country houses and palaces in the locality. Many restaurants abound in all the villages around.English language films show in all the cinemas and there are numerous supermarkets and typical local market very famous for food but also many clothes to buy! |
