| Built as guest accommodation for the main house, the villa was designed to afford privacy and comfort for house guests, a tradition which continues to this day. With its own entrance gate, the villa is quiet, tastefully furnished and decorated with some fine paintings and objets d’art. | The living room is spacious and airy, very well decorated ,with two working fireplaces ; a deskroom allowds you to isolate if children are too noisy, the kitchen is fully equipped and opens to the dinning area with a table for 10 persons ,a guest toilet is accessed from the living room. Outside there is a large table for 'al fresco' meals. There are 5 spacious bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom, desk, seating area and built-in wardrobes. The others share 3 shower-room with toilets. |
Getting there and around
The villa is reached by car from Paris in 2 hours ,1 hour from Rouen, or 15 minutes from Dieppe (where the train station and the ferry terminal to England are).
A car is essential for this holiday as there is a lot of places to visit around. There is plenty to see and enjoy, with pretty towns or villages (A bbeville, Berk sur mer, Fécamp, St Valery-en- Caux....), beautiful gardens (Garden of Castel of Miromesnil, Shamrock,Parc Floral des Moutiers), Ivory and Spices Road, Castels (Manoir d'Ango, Castel of Rambures,Castel of Martainville...) Alabaster Coast ( walks and cliffs) , Normans Abbeys Road (Abbey St Georges de Boscherville. Abbey of Jumièges...) You can also join Newhaven by ferry from Dieppe . |
