Quinta da Bela Vista - Setubal - Surface area : 550 m2
A magnificent 18th Century manor house, set in 4 hectares of private gardens, with an exclusive swimming pool, tennis courts and children playground, there are orchards and meadows, with vestiges of a mediaeval monastery, formal walks, a section of the aqueduct which supplied Setubal, and a ruined well where a donkey once turned the wheel which drew the water to irrigate the estate. There are far reaching views from the main terrace over the tranquil valley, which the house shares with similar properties, from where a monumental staircase leads down to the pool and tennis court. When you rent Quinta da Bela Vista, the whole house and gardens are for your exclusive use. The property is divided into two houses which are accessed from either side of the grand entrance hall, with its imposing staircase, Casa Nobre and Casa do Anjo. There is ample seating, antique furniture and paintings. There is also a bathroom in the hall area. Almost every room overlooks the gardens, and the ground floor rooms have direct access to the terraces and gardens. The extensive grounds of the estate include a large pool (open May to September), a separate pool room with shower and toilet, garden furniture with barbecue, tennis court and children playground. The whole effect is of a grandeur and elegance in keeping with the house. The dining table seats 14 comfortably, but this extends to 30 if the other tables in the room are used.

Here are two further double bedrooms (with twin or double beds as required), two bathrooms (one en suite, both with bath, shower, toilet and bidet), and a a private area suitable for a cot or twin beds for children.
